So I took the not-so-drastic measure of taking a day off to go enjoy the high country.
Bob was easily talked into coming along. So he got to be the model for the day.
We stopped for a snack at the unoccupied Montgomery Pass Yurt.
Later in the day we stumbled on to this more affordable accomodation:
Quite an un-sucky little adventure.
