When you tell your kids "Let's go up and look at the leaves" it doesn't exactly elicit whoops of joy. But we made them go anyway. :)

Just some flowers and September afternoon light.

2nd Annual Harvest Moon Bike Ride

Crawled out of bed for my second annual bike ride to check out the spectacular Harvest Moon.

Pedaled under the moonlight for a while, then stopped to watch this:

Rode for another 5 minutes and stopped again to soak this in:

Ate a gu for breakfast here:

And then I enjoyed a small serving of gravity to top it off:

Wildlife?

Well this guy wasn't very wild as we watched him toy with a vole for a good 20 minutes or so. He put on a pretty good show.
